• Works closely with the HR manager to provide new hire orientation

• Serves as Infection Control Nurse, reports infection control practices to Infection Control Officer and Administrator.
• Manages and provides required education to the entire staff and is also responsible for employee health.

Qualified candidates:

• Must be a licensed RN
• Knowledge of basic nursing skills (patient assessment, infection control, IV therapy, medication administration, etc.)
• Have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a nurse
• Have a minimum of 2-4 years of clinical training experience.

Employee health encompasses administration and management of Hepatitis B vaccinations and PPD annual checks. Requires expert knowledge of basic nursing skills (patient assessment, infection control, IV therapy, medication administration, etc.) and a desire to pass that knowledge on to others.

This is 40 hours per week position with (2) weekends 8:00 - 4:30 and (2) evenings 11:30-8:00 a week required. Other days are 9:00 - 5:30.

Every other Sat. & Sun 8-4 or 9-5 and 4-9 (4) evenings per week. 

The receptionist will:

• Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
• Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
• Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
• Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
• Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.
